Foray Mockbeggar Lakes, Ringwood

Mockbeggar Lakes, Ringwood

Sunday 6th October 2024

Start 10.00am

This is part of the private Somerley Estate.

From Bournemouth/Poole direction take the main A31 northbound to the junction with the A338 to Fordingbridge and Salisbury. Head along the A338 for around two and a half miles until you reach a right hand turning (Mockbeggar Lane) near the old church. Head up this road for just over a mile until you reach the end where right in front of you is a small chapel and to you right is the RAF Ibsley memorial. Turn right here and go for about a quarter of a mile or so and the entrance to the venue is on the right. Please note that this gate MUST be kept closed and hopefully we will post a steward to direct you and ensure that it is! Also be aware that these are popular fishing lakes so no doubt fishermen will be present. The whole foray area is very easy going with no hills or rough terrain of any consequence, in fact it is very good for those members less mobile.

The entrance to the parking area is likewise.etchings.handed . There is room for approx a dozen cars but could be double parked if necessary.

Remember that this is a private site with no access for the general public.
